Sundre is the gateway to Alberta’s foothills and the Rocky Mountains. “Sundre boasts 27 kilometres of trails and pathways in town, of which an estimated 10 are groomed by the Sundre Bike n Ski Club for cross-country skiing and fat biking,” says Jon Allan, Economic Development Officer. “Most of the trails are located in highly picturesque settings on our Riverside trail system, and on our beautifully forested Snake Hill Recreation Area. Snowshoeing is a popular activity too, particularly on Snake Hill.”
